Background: HMS is characterized by excessive joint mobility, presenting various physical and psychological challenges. Understanding the interplay between these factors is essential for effective HMS management. This study aimed to examine differences in Limits of Stability (LOS) and lumbar proprioception between Hypermobility Syndrome (HMS) and control groups, explore correlations between LOS and proprioception errors, and understand the mediation effects of Kinesiophobia and fatigue on proprioception in HMS individuals.

Methods: This was a retrospective comparative case series of consecutive patients with GLAD lesions in the setting of first-time anterior instability events who underwent arthroscopic Bankart repair. Patients with GLAD lesions (cases) were matched in a 1:3 ratio for sex, age, BMI, and sport to those without GLAD lesions (controls).
Background: Full-thickness, transtendinous supraspinatus rotator cuff tears involve a significant portion of the remanent tendon attached to the footprint.
Purpose: To compare outcomes and failure rates for arthroscopic side-to-side (STS) suture repair for transtendinous tears versus traditional double-row repair for common tendon-to-bone type tears.
Study Design: Cohort study; Level of evidence, 3.
Background: Longer-term outcomes are especially important for lower-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) or surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR). Additional randomized data comparing TAVR and SAVR have recently become available.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to perform an updated systematic review with conventional pairwise meta-analyses and pooled survival analyses using reconstructed time-to-event individual participant data (IPD) including the totality of randomized evidence comparing longer-term clinical outcomes after TAVR and SAVR in lower-risk patients.
A new type of -(alkynyl)benzyl thiosulfonates and -(alkynyl)benzyl sulfurothioates (Bunte salts) have been prepared for the first time to investigate vicinal thiosulfonylation. A unique Au-catalyzed atom transfer radical cyclization (ATRC) of -alkynyl benzyl thiosulfonates has been successfully achieved, producing sulfonyl-derived isothiochromenes as a major product through a favored 6- cyclization. Additionally, the vicinal thiosulfonylation of Bunte salts with sodium sulfinates has been realized under the influence of Mn(OAc)·2HO to afford 4-sulfonyl-isothiochromene derivatives exclusively.
