  • The study aimed to determine if the extent of angina radiation (AR) could help predict the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients with stable angina.
  • Patients were divided into two groups based on the extent of their anginal radiation; group 1 had limited radiation to the chest and back, while group 2 had more widespread radiation, including remote areas like the jaw and wrists.
  • While no significant difference in CAD distribution was found between the two groups, patients with remote AR showed a high sensitivity for multi-vessel CAD, suggesting that specific anginal patterns can help in assessing coronary health.
