Objective: The objective of these guidelines is to define for women at low obstetric risk modalities that respect the physiology of delivery and guarantee the quality and safety of maternal and newborn care.

Methods: These guidelines were made by a consensus of experts based on an analysis of the scientific literature and the French and international recommendations available on the subject.

Results: It is recommended to conduct a complete initial examination of the woman in labor at admission (consensus agreement).

Aim: This study assessed whether myoinositol might be a first-line medical treatment for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

Methods: For 12 months, women with GDM not controlled by diet (n=32) were prospectively treated with myoinositol 1200mg and folic acid 400μg/day, while consecutive women (n=28) with insulin-requiring GDM treated during the previous year at our centre constituted the control group. Baseline characteristics and care were similar in both groups.

Background: A prospective study was conducted to evaluate the impact of an educational reproductive health program on medical student peer educators and the secondary school pupils whom they taught.

Methods: The Marseille School of Medicine and ten public secondary schools participated in the study. Medical students were recruited and trained as peer educators to promote sexual health in the secondary schools.

Objective: To identify knowledge of and attitudes towards emergency contraception (EC) in women from five European countries.

Methods: In an internet-based survey, sexually active women aged 16 to 46 years from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK were asked about their use of and opinions on EC.

Results: Overall, 7170 women completed the survey.
