Behçet's disease (BD) is a rare autoimmune disease with an unknown aetiology. It is mostly found in the ancient "silk route" (from the Mediterranean region to the Far East). BD is a vasculitis that can involve veins and arteries of all sizes.

This work is the analysis of the values of glycated haemoglobin in the three quarters of the study in 2021, which are presented by variable quantitative values with the statistical method principal component analysis PCA. This study also includes an analysis of socio-demographic parameters, which are analysed by the multiple correspondence analysis MCA method.

It is an uncommon but severe, painful, and potentially blinding ocular disease and may occasionally result in perforation of the globe. Through a case report of severe scleritis that occurred after pterygium surgery, the authors expose diagnostic difficulties and emphasize the need for a meticulous diagnostic approach in such a condition.
