Article Synopsis
  • * The study used whole exome sequencing (WES) on a family from India to explore the genetic causes of ASDs in siblings displaying clinical features associated with Smith-Magenis syndrome (SMS).
  • * Two inherited variants were found that contribute to the SMS features in the siblings, demonstrating how WES can shed light on the genetic complexity of syndromic ASDs and inform understanding of both syndromic and idiopathic types of ASD.

With the recent advances in the development of devices capable of performing quantum computations, a growing interest in finding near-term applications has emerged in many areas of science. In the era of nonfault tolerant quantum devices, algorithms that only require comparably short circuits accompanied by high repetition rates are considered to be a promising approach for assisting classical machines with finding a solution on computationally hard problems. The ADAPT approach previously introduced in Nat.

Odontogenic Keratocyst (OKC) is an odontogenic cyst of developmental origin arising from remnants of the dental lamina. Malignant or benign transformations though rare have been noticed from their epithelium. Ameloblastomatous transformation from an OKC is extremely rare with such lesions being referred to as combined/"hybrid" odontogenic lesions.

Introduction: Diabetes is associated with the vascular and the neuronal damage of the eye leading to diabetic retinopathy (DR). The circadian rhythms and also the quality of life (QoL) are known to be impacted by the photosensitive retinal ganglion cells, which are seen to be affected in the DR. Hence, we aim to find a relation between the DR and its impact on the life quality.
