Protein C is a vitamin K-dependent anticoagulant glycoprotein that inhibits activated factors V and VIII once activated by thrombin while promoting fibrinolysis. Patients with homozygous protein C deficiency generally present shortly after birth with purpura fulminans, retinal hemorrhage, and signs of the central nervous system or renal thrombosis. This case reports the first case of homozygous protein C deficiency in the UAE successfully treated with liver transplantation.

Background: This study aims to determine phase transformation temperatures of EndoSequence Reciprocating System (ESR), Wave One Gold (WOG), and Reciproc Blue (RB) via differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Further, to evaluate the cyclic fatigue behaviors by applying static (SF) and dynamic fatigue (DF) tests.

Methods: All files' systems were evaluated using DSC (Netzch 200 F3, Germany) with scans ranging from 80°C to -80°C to compare phase transformation.

Background And Aims: Acute liver failure (ALF) has high mortality predominantly due to compromised immune system and increase vulnerability to bacterial and fungal infections.

Method: Plasma lipidome and fungal peptide-based-community (mycobiome) analysis were performed in Discovery cohort (40-ALF, 5-healthy) and validated in a validation cohort of 230-ALF using High-resolution-mass-spectrometry, artificial-neural-network (ANN) and machine-learning (ML).

Results: Untargeted lipidomics identified 2,013 lipids across 8 lipid-groups.

Some members of the Chlamydiales order, particularly Chlamydia, Waddlia, and Parachlamydia, have been associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes in humans and animals. Recently, the existence of another Chlamydia-like bacterium, namely Simkania, has been confirmed in the genitalia of adult females, but its possible pathogenic role has not yet been examined. In comparison to other members of Chlamydiales, the presence of Parachlamydia in the urogenitalia of human females and its involvement in obstetrical complications is less convincingly investigated and still a matter of debate.

Aquaculture faces challenges from , causing Motile Aeromonas Septicaemia, particularly affecting (Rohu) in Pakistan. This study explores potential herbal antibacterials targeting , molecular docking of (ajwain) phytocompounds against pathogen. The cell wall synthesis ligase, D-alanine-D-alanine ligase (PDB ID 6ll9) was processed in BIOVIA Discovery Studio and docked with 13 antibacterial phytocompounds found after QSAR analysis of .
