Medication abortion (MAB) is extremely safe-including when accessed outside the formal healthcare system-yet misinformation about its safety often influences policy, and research regarding public perceptions about its safety remains limited. In 2021-2022, we administered a US national probability-based online survey to 7,376 English- and/or Spanish-speaking people assigned female (AFAB, ages 15-49;  = 7,016) or male at birth (AMAB, ages 18-49;  = 360) to assess perceptions of MAB and self-managed abortion method safety. To identify characteristics associated with safety attitudes, we estimated weighted proportions and conducted multivariable multinomial logistic regressions.

Introduction: The Cognitive Bias Scale (CBS) and the three Cognitive Bias Scale of Scales (CB-SOS) were developed for the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) to assess for cognitive response bias in neuropsychological settings and populations. While cross-validation research to date has been supportive, the scales have yet to be validated in a clinically referred veteran sample.

Method: Patients ( = 235) were clinically referred veterans who underwent neuropsychological evaluations.

The inter-annual fluctuations of abundance of the Brazilian sardine () during the last decades have deeply modified the purse seine fishery dynamics. This study evaluates the trophic relationships of the main species exploited by this fishery and the importance of its biomass for the southeast-south Brazil marine ecosystem (22° S-34° S). Data were analyzed using a mass balance model (ECOPATH) between the two fishery collapses: 2000 and 2017.

Introduction: This study cross-validates and expands upon previous research by examining the optimal number of PVT failures necessary to determine invalid performance when 10 PVTs are administered during a neuropsychological evaluation. Additionally, the study assessed the degree of skewness of individual PVTs and PVT intercorrelations for the overall sample and by validity group.

Method: Participants were 283 adult neuropsychology outpatients evaluated at an academic medical center.

Importance: Since Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization (Dobbs) removed federal abortion protections, people's views about alternative models of abortion care may have been impacted, yet research on this topic is limited.

Objective: To examine changes in national support for and personal interest in advance provision (AP) and over-the-counter (OTC) access to medication abortion.

Design, Setting, And Participants: Two nationally representative cross-sectional online surveys were administered to a market research firm's panel members who were assigned female at birth (AFAB) and aged 15 to 49 years from December 2021 to January 2022 (before Dobbs) and June to July 2023 (after Dobbs).
