Background: The association between covid-19 vaccine and menstrual disturbance is unclear.
Methods: An in-person cross-sectional survey among female members ≥ 18 years enrolled in an ongoing Zero TB prospective cohort in Northern India who had received one or two doses of covid-19 vaccine was conducted to study the characteristics and association of menstrual disturbance within six months of receiving Covishield.
Results: Between June 29 and September 5, 2021, 339 females ≥ 18 years of age were administered the survey.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an economic, food security, and global health threat accelerated by a multitude of factors including the overuse and misuse of antimicrobials in the human health, animal health, and agriculture sectors. Given the rapid emergence and spread of AMR and the relative lack of development of new antimicrobials or alternative therapies, there is a need to develop and implement non-pharmaceutical AMR mitigation policies and interventions that improve antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) practices across all sectors where antimicrobials are used. We conducted a systematic literature review per the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines to identify peer-reviewed studies that described behavior-change interventions that aimed to improve AMS and/or reduce inappropriate antimicrobial use (AMU) among human health, animal health, and livestock agriculture stakeholders.

Patients And Methods: Patient series of 3 patients who underwent submental intubation prior to open reduction internal fixation of fractures associated with the mid and lower face. All of these patients were initially orally intubated, and then converted to submental intubation prior to the reparative procedure.

Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a rare and severe mucocutaneous disorder characterized by mucosal and epidermal necrosis and sloughing. This potentially life-threatening condition, together with the less severe Stevens-Johnson syndrome, is commonly caused by an immunologic reaction to medications and can lead to many long-term complications. The disorder initially presents with fever, malaise, and painful mucosal ulcerations (most commonly oral) but progresses to widespread cutaneous lesions.
