Purpose: Electronic (e) patient-reported outcomes (PROs) have been shown to improve the quality of life and survival in chemotherapy treated advanced cancer patients. We hypothesized that multidimensional ePRO centered approach could improve symptom management, streamline patient flow, and optimize the use of healthcare resources.
Methods: In this multicenter trial (NCT04081558), colorectal cancer (CRC) patients receiving oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy as adjuvant or in the first- or second-line setting in advanced disease were included in the prospective ePRO cohort, while a comparative retrospective cohort was collected from the same institutes.
Background And Objectives: Increased fall risk in older adults is associated with declining balance. Previous work showed that brief postural instructions can affect balance control in older adults with Parkinson's disease. Here, we assessed the effects of brief instructions on static and dynamic balance in healthy older adults.

Prophylactic administration of antifibrinolytic agents has been shown to reduce blood loss and the need for allogenic transfusion.
Objective: To study the effect of antifibrinolytics on requirement of blood components, blood loss and operative time during OLT in patients with end stage liver disease, reporting to a single centre.
Acute reversible left ventricular dysfunction due to myocardial stunning is a known phenomenon during acute myocardial infarction, coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty or after coronary artery bypass surgery. We report a rare case of acute reversible dysfunction of the myocardium as a complication of general anesthesia in a patient with normal coronary arteries. This is a potentially fatal complication unless recognized early and treated aggressively.
