Effect of Childhood Adversity on the Relationship Between Family Resilience and Behavioral or Conduct Problems in Children With Special Healthcare Needs.

Objective: Behavioral or conduct problems (BCPs) are common co-occurring conditions in children with special health care needs (CSHCNs), affecting their developmental and functional milestones. The role of family resilience in mitigating BCPs among these children and how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) affect this dynamic remain largely unclear. The aim of the study was to disentangle the complex interplay between family resilience, ACEs, and BCPs by examining how ACEs moderate the relationship between family resilience and BCPs.

Valid and reliable assessment tools to test wheelchair service personnel/provider knowledge are needed to support good practice. The International Society of Wheelchair Professionals' Basic Manual Wheelchair Service Provision Test (Version 1) has been widely used across contexts and settings to assess the knowledge of personnel who provide manual wheelchair services. Test Version 2 has been recently developed according to current evidence.

Food insecurity and early childhood development among children 24-59 months in Nigeria: A multilevel mixed effects modelling of the social determinants of health inequities.

Food insecurity (FI) has been identified as a determinant of child development, yet evidence quantifying this association using the newly developed Early Childhood Development Index 2030 (ECDI2030) remains limited. Herein, we provide national estimates of early childhood development (ECD) risks using the ECDI2030 and examined to what extent FI was associated with ECD among children aged 24-59 months in Nigeria. This population based cross-sectional analyses used data from the UNICEF-supported 2021 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey in Nigeria.

Scoping review of fidelity strategies used in behaviour change trials delivered in primary dental care settings.

Background: Primary dental care settings are strategically important locations where randomised controlled trials (RCTs) of behaviour change interventions (BCIs) can be tested to tackle oral diseases. Findings have so far produced equivocal results. Improving treatment fidelity is posed as a mechanism to improve scientific rigour, consistency and implementation of BCIs.

Tambjamines as Fast-Acting Multistage Antimalarials.

Well-tolerated and novel antimalarials that can combat multiple stages of the parasite life cycle are desirable but challenging to discover and develop. Herein, we report results for natural product-inspired novel tambjamine antimalarials. We show that they are potent against liver, asexual erythrocytic, and sexual erythrocytic parasite life cycle stages.
