[Effect of ketalar on the hypophyseo-adrenal system and glucose-insular homeostasis in children with malignant neoplasms].

The dynamics of content of the adreno-corticotropic and somatotropic hormones, cortisol , insulin and glucose in 30 children with malignant tumors operated upon under conditions of Ketalar anesthesia was analyzed. Direct influence of Ketalar upon the hypophysis-adrenal system and glucose-insular homeostasis was established. A possibility to prevent these changes by means of inclusion of Seduxen in the Ketalar anesthesia scheme was found.
