Background: Chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) is a disease commonly caused by Aspergillus fumigatus and other Aspergillus species characterized by cavitary lung lesions. Tea garden population is an agrarian population of Assam, mostly associated with tea plantations. Assam is a major tea-producing state with 803 tea gardens producing approximately 50% of the total tea in India, of which 177 are present in the Dibrugarh district alone.

Anti-Aging Effect of Traditional Plant-Based Food: An Overview.

Exopolysaccharides (EPSs) are the group of biological macromolecules those play a potent role in protecting the bacteria from any sorts of stress. They exhibit multifunctional roles in natural and bioactive product science hence exhibits various types of medical and biochemical applications. EPS ensures the storage of nutrients, produce antigens to create defense mechanism during infection, and is also responsible for the formation of biofilm and cell adhesion.

Quantum spin-liquid in BaCuSbOepitaxial thin films.

Hexagonal perovskite materials are emerging quantum spin liquid (QSL) systems providing a fertile ground to realize novel quantum phenomena. The epitaxially grown thin films of such materials offer a compelling approach to utilize exotic quantum phases for device applications with better control over the structure. We fabricate the intriguing QSL triple perovskite BaCuSbOepitaxially onto a MgO (100) substrate by pulsed laser deposition technique as well as in bulk form for comparison.

Ethnic foods of Northeast India: insight into the light of food safety.

Background: Traditional and fermented foods are widely consumed by the ethnic population of Northeast India. These foods are not only very nutritious, easily available, and reasonably priced, but also boost immunity and protect from various seasonal infections and have been reported through several investigations. However, pathogens transmitted by these foods have never been reported.
