Data-Driven Strategies for Carbimazole Titration: Exploring Machine Learning Solutions in Hyperthyroidism Control.

Background: University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) has over 1,000 thyroid patient contacts annually. These are primarily patients with autoimmune hyperthyroidism treated with Carbimazole titration. Dose adjustments are made by a healthcare professional (HCP) based on the results of thyroid function tests, who then prescribes a dose and communicates this to the patient via letter.

Solid-state P and Ag CP/MAS NMR as a powerful tool for studying of silver(I) complexes with N-thiophosphorylated thiourea and thioamide ligands.

A family of three- and four-coordinated silver(I) complexes of formulas [Ag(PPh ) L], [Ag(PPh )L], and [AgL] with N-thiophosphorylated thiourea and thioamide ligands of general formula RC(S)NHP(S)(OPri) [R = Ph, PhNH, iPrNH, tBuNH, NH ] have been studied by solid-state Ag and P CPMAS NMR spectroscopy. Ag NMR spectra have provided valuable structural information about Ag coordination, which is in good accordance with the available crystal structure data. The data presented in this work represent a significant addition to the available Ag chemical shifts and chemical shifts anisotropies.

Machine Learning for Understanding and Predicting Injuries in Football.

Attempts to better understand the relationship between training and competition load and injury in football are essential for helping to understand adaptation to training programmes, assessing fatigue and recovery, and minimising the risk of injury and illness. To this end, technological advancements have enabled the collection of multiple points of data for use in analysis and injury prediction. The full breadth of available data has, however, only recently begun to be explored using suitable statistical methods.

Polymorphs of RbScF: X-ray and Neutron Diffraction, Solid-State NMR, and Density Functional Theory Calculations Study.

The crystal structures of three polymorphs of RbScF have been determined through a combination of synchrotron, laboratory X-ray, and neutron powder diffraction, electron diffraction, and multinuclear high-field solid-state NMR studies. The room temperature (RT; α) and medium-temperature (β) structures are tetragonal, with space groups 4/ ( = 80) and 4/ ( = 10) and lattice parameters = 20.2561(4) Å, = 36.
