FDG PET/CT of a Supraclavicular Silicone Granuloma at Follow-up of a Breast Carcinoma.

We report herein the case of a 33-year-old woman who was referred for FDG PET/CT staging prior to pregnancy after a 4-year lost to follow-up for a breast invasive ductal carcinoma (pT2N1 SBRII). FDG PET/CT revealed right supraclavicular lymphadenopathy potentially caused by breast carcinoma recurrence. No additional site was involved.

Use of morselized allografts for acetabular reconstruction during THA revision: French multicenter study of 508 cases with 8 years' average follow-up.

Background: In the context of acetabular reconstruction, bone defects can be filled with processed or unprocessed bone allografts. Published data are often contradictory on this topic and few studies have been done comparing processed allografts to fresh-frozen ones. This led us to conduct a large study to measure the factors impacting the survival of THA revision: (1) type of allograft and cup, (2) technical factors or patient-related factors.

Facial nerve tractography: A new tool for the detection of perineural spread in parotid cancers.

Objectives: To determine whether facial nerve MR tractography is useful in detecting PeriNeural Spread in parotid cancers.

Methods: Forty-five participants were enrolled. Thirty patients with surgically managed parotid tumors (15 malignant, 15 benign) were compared with 15 healthy volunteers.

Qualitative and quantitative assessment of cartilage degeneration using full-field optical coherence tomography ex vivo.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ability of full-field optical coherence tomography (FFOCT) to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate cartilage degeneration using the qualitative evaluation of histology sections as the reference.

Design: Thirty-three human knee cartilage samples of variable degeneration were included in the study. A closely matching histology and FFOCT image was acquired for each sample.

Background: Interventional radiology includes a range of minimally invasive image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that have become routine clinical practice. Each procedure involves a percutaneous needle insertion, often guided using computed tomography (CT) because of its availability and usability. However, procedures remain complicated, in particular when an obstacle must be avoided, meaning that an oblique trajectory is required.
