Article Synopsis
  • Young children have high nutritional needs, especially for lysine, and improving their diets with enriched foods is essential due to their small portion sizes.
  • An enzymatic lysine-α-oxidase (LOx) sensor was developed to measure lysine content in flour mixtures, showing significant increases in lysine concentration with added lablab purpureus.
  • The biosensor successfully quantified lysine levels in various flours, proving to be an effective tool for assessing and enhancing the nutritional quality of these food products.

Background: Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (HMRS) is a noninvasive method to quantify pain. A HMRS spectrum is a group of peaks at different radiofrequencies, showing proton nuclei in various chemical environments. These MR spectra provide information about metabolite concentrations, and make MRS a useful procedure to monitor metabolic fluctuations due to disease, and to track the efficacy of treatment.

Background: Male infertility is defined as an inability to impregnate a fertile female; it is a widespread problem which is usually caused by some male factors such as low quantity and quality of sperm, specifically oligospermia and azoospermia.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the bio-positive effects of low power density Wi-Fi radiation on the reproductive system of infertile and healthy mice.

Materials And Methods: In this experimental study, thirty adult male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into 5 groups.
