An Unusual Case of Tuberculous Tenosynovitis of the Hand.

Infectious tuberculous tenosynovitis (TS) is an unusual occurrence in the forearm, wrist, or hand. Here we report a case of tuberculous TS of the wrist in a 26-year-old male with no comorbidities. The patient presented with a nonhealing ulcer on the palmar aspect of the proximal part of the left little finger with restricted mobility.

Hypertrophic Lichen Planus: A Precursor Lesion for Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common malignant tumor of the skin. This case report aims to report a case of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in an elderly male presenting with a non-healing ulceroproliferative growth on the shin of the right lower limb and a hypopigmented patch on the shin of the left lower limb. The significant feature of this case is that in the shin of the left lower limb, SCC appears in the background of chronic hypertrophic lichen planus (HLP) but in the right lower limb, there is no evidence of a background hypertrophic lichen planus.

Carotid Cavernous Fistula as a Rare and Late Complication of Maxillofacial Injury: A Brief Clinical Study.

Carotid- Cavernous Fistula (CCF) represents an aberrant vascular communication at the skull base between the high-flow carotid arterial system and the low-flow venous channels within the cavernous sinuses of the sphenoid bone. Benjamin Travers, in the year 1809, described this condition as "pulsating exophthalmos". This case is a presentation of a carotid cavernous fistula in an operated case of maxillofacial injury as a late complication.

Tendinopathy is a multi-factorial, broad spectrum of tendon disorder, characterized by activity-related chronic tendon pain and local tenderness. The point of this study was to assess the adequacy of a nutritional supplement containing Glucosamine, type II collagen and vitamin C on the clinical and auxiliary advancement of tendinopathies. The prospective study was Hospital based randomized control trail comparing the efficacy of collage 2 peptide, glucosamine and vitamin c with placebo in various tendinopathies.
