: Cellular and humoral immunity are key to the immune response against SARS-CoV-2, but the comparability and correlation across different assays remain underexplored. This study compares three T-cell and three antibody assays in two vaccine groups. : This prospective longitudinal cohort study involved 46 naïve healthcare workers: a total of 11 in the homologous mRNA-1273 group (three doses) and 35 in the heterologous ChAd group (two ChAd doses followed by a BNT booster).

This study aimed to evaluate the incidence of total knee arthroplasty (TKA), a marker of severe knee osteoarthritis (OA), among older females with concurrent knee OA and osteoporosis (OP) who were treated with denosumab or bisphosphonates. By analyzing a large population-based cohort, we sought to clarify how these treatments influence the progression of knee OA to the point of requiring surgical intervention. We used data from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database, including data from females aged ≥ 50 years diagnosed with knee OA and OP who initiated treatment between 2012 and 2019.

Historical trauma has been established as a determinant of health among all Hawaiians, but limited research exists on how Wāhine (Native Hawaiian women) uniquely experience historical trauma. A phenomenological qualitative study was conducted to primarily understand how historical trauma, trauma response, and the transmission and modes of intergenerational trauma intersect with sexism and patriarchy among contemporary Wāhine, as described in the Historical Trauma Conceptual Model. With partnership and approval of the Waimānalo Pono Research Hui, interviews were conducted with 13 Wāhine from various generations in Hawai'i.

Background: The metastasis-promoting G-protein-coupled receptor CXC Receptor 4 (CXCR4) is activated by the chemokine CXCL12, also known as stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1). The CXCL12/CXCR4 pathway in cancer promotes metastasis but the molecular details of how this pathway cross-talks with oncogenes are understudied. An oncogene pathway known to promote breast cancer metastasis in MDA-MB-231 xenografts is that of Mouse Double Minute 2 and 4 (MDM2 and MDM4, also known as MDMX).

Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT have been increasingly integrated into radiology research, revolutionizing the research landscape. The Radiology Research Alliance (RRA) of the Association for Academic Radiology (AAR) has convened a Task Force to develop this guide to help radiology researchers responsibly adopt LLM technologies. LLMs can improve various phases of the research process by helping to automate literature reviews, generate research questions, analyze complex datasets, and draft manuscripts.
