Introduction And Aim: Graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) is a complication of hematopoietic cell transplantation, and the small bowel is one of the main targets in the gastrointestinal tract. Capsule endoscopy is a safe procedure and can be useful in the diagnosis of GvHD. The aim of the present study was to compare the diagnostic yield of capsule endoscopy with the histopathologic findings in GvHD.

Material And Methods: a retrospective review of a prospective POEM and G-POEM database was performed between January 2015 and August 2019.

- It included 183 patients, with 61 having acromegaly and 122 without, and utilized capsule endoscopy to detect polyps and tumors.
- The findings showed that 9.8% of acromegaly patients had polyps, significantly higher than the 2.5% in non-acromegaly patients, suggesting that acromegaly could be linked to a higher risk of small bowel polyps.
