Objective: This study compared the effects of prior cognitive, physical, and concurrent exertion on physical performance.

Background: Fatiguing cognitive and physical exertions have been shown to negatively affect subsequent task performance. However, it is not clearly understood if concurrent physical and cognitive effort may exaggerate the negative carryover effects on physical task performance when compared to cognitive or physical exertion alone.

Evolution of Transcriptional Repressors Impacts Caenorhabditis Vulval Development.

Comparative genomic sequence analysis has found that the genes for many chromatin-associated proteins are poorly conserved, but the biological consequences of these sequence changes are not understood. Here, we show that four genes identified for an Inappropriate Vulval cell Proliferation (ivp) phenotype in the nematode Caenorhabditis briggsae exhibit distinct functions and genetic interactions when compared with their orthologs in C. elegans.

Common dental features and craniofacial development of three siblings with Ter Haar syndrome.

Background: Ter Haar syndrome is a rare genetic syndrome with <30 cases reported worldwide. There is nothing within the published literature regarding the dental development and dental features of these patients.

Case Report: This case series examines three patients with Ter Haar syndrome and tracks their dental development and identifies common dental and skeletal features.
