The complex tumor microenvironment (TME) presents significant challenges to the development of effective therapies against solid tumors, highlighting the need for advanced in vitro models that better recapitulate TME biology. To address this, we developed a vascularized human liver tumor model using a microfluidic platform, designed to test both drug and cell-based therapies. This model mimics critical tumorigenic features such as hypoxia, extracellular matrix (ECM), and perfusable vascular networks.

Background: We undertook this study to evaluate the efficacy of an on-table extubation protocol and to assess the magnitude of benefits when implemented as a routine practice in a developing country.
Methods: This prospective observational study at a single tertiary care referral hospital was designed to determine the efficacy of an on-table extubation protocol when applied to children undergoing cardiac surgery in the developing world. The study included 226 patients who were 1 month to 18 years of age undergoing cardiac surgery (including grown-up congenital heart disease [GUCHD] patients).
Introduction: Non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C) levels can increase the cardiometabolic risk factors in patients with hypothyroidism, but the findings across studies have not been consistently conclusive. The aim of this study was to find the association between non-HDL-C and cardiometabolic risk factors in patients with hypothyroidism.
Material And Methods: In this case-control study, a total of 120 subjects among which 60 diagnosed hypothyroidism patients and 60 age-matched healthy controls were enrolled, aged 30-65 years.
Node localization is critical for accessing diverse nodes that provide services in remote places. Single-anchor localization techniques suffer co-linearity, performing poorly. The reliable multiple anchor node selection method is computationally intensive and requires a lot of processing power and time to identify suitable anchor nodes.

The phase purity was checked by X-ray diffraction analysis and the functional groups present in as prepared phosphors was investigated with the help of FTIR spectral analysis. Under 386 nm excitation, the photoluminescence spectra exhibit three emission bands around 482 nm, 574 nm and 664 nm due to F→H (J = 15, 13, 11) transions respectively.
