  • Blood flow restriction (BFR) is a low-load exercise method that involves using cuffs to reduce blood flow, allowing similar benefits to high-load training while exerting less effort.
  • The systematic review aimed to assess the impact of BFR on pain, functionality, and quality of life for individuals with neuromusculoskeletal issues, reviewing data from various medical databases.
  • Findings suggested that BFR is an effective therapeutic approach, showing improvements in pain and functionality within six weeks, but its long-term effectiveness remains uncertain.
