Greater semantic availability (meaningfulness) within visual stimuli can positively impact visual working memory performance. Across two experiments, we investigated the effects of semantic availability and, for the first time, semantic strategy instruction on visual working memory performance. Experiment 1 focused on young adults' (aged 18-35 years) strategies during visual matrix task recognition.

Genomic divergence across the tree of life.

Nucleotide sequence data are being harnessed to identify species, even in cases in which organisms themselves are neither in hand nor witnessed. But how genome-wide sequence divergence maps to species status is far from clear. While gene sequence divergence is commonly used to delineate bacterial species, its correspondence to established species boundaries has yet to be explored across eukaryotic taxa.

Immunotherapy for orbital squamous cell carcinoma.

Purpose: To evaluate the demographics, clinical features and response of orbital squamous cell carcinoma treated with immunotherapy in an Australian and New Zealand cohort.

Methods: This is a multi-institutional, retrospective case series. Data was collected on patient demographics, clinical presentation, imaging findings, treatment course and outcomes.

Dual versus single antiplatelet therapy in patients with non-cardioembolic acute ischemic stroke and baseline MRI.

Introduction: Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is superior to single antiplatelet therapy (SAPT) for secondary prevention after minor, non-cardioembolic stroke. We aimed to assess whether DAPT efficacy is modified by large artery atherosclerotic (LAA) etiology, and DAPT safety by stroke size on MRI.

Patients And Methods: Post hoc analysis of the Phase 2 PACIFIC-STROKE randomized clinical trial, which enrolled patients with non-cardioembolic stroke, all with baseline MRI and compared the Factor XIa inhibitor asundexian with placebo on a background of DAPT or SAPT.
