Objective: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and characteristics of mistreatment during childbirth in Israeli medical centers, addressing gaps in quantitative data within developed countries.
Study Design: A new questionnaire, incorporating demographic, obstetric, and mistreatment-related questions, was developed and distributed to postpartum women in two Israeli hospitals. Mistreatment categories included physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, failure to meet professional standards, poor rapport between women and providers, and health system conditions.
Accessory gallbladders are rare congenital malformations of the hepatobiliary system. They are often incidentally diagnosed preoperatively or intra-operatively. We report a case of a 52-year-old man with an accessory gallbladder that was partially encased by esophageal adenocarcinoma.

Purpose To evaluate the ability of restaging MRI to predict oncologic outcomes and identify imaging features associated with residual disease (RD) after TNT. Materials and Methods This was a secondary analysis of the Organ Preservation in Rectal Adenocarcinoma (OPRA) trial, which randomized participants from April 2014 to March 2020 with stages II or III rectal adenocarcinoma to undergo either induction or consolidation TNT.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included women who underwent vaginal delivery (VD), elective CS, and urgent CS at Carmel Medical Center from 2015 to 2020. Data were extracted from the obstetric database, excluding deliveries with PPH.
This paper describes the Wellness in Chronic Care (WCC) model, an innovative integrative clinical intervention method aimed at helping social workers manage the care of patients living with chronic illnesses and their families. The goal is to propose appropriate clinical responses to the changing reality of the health system. This new reality poses new challenges that require caregivers (social work practitioners and family members) to develop suitable skills and expertise.
