Background: SMARCB1 (INI-1)-deficient carcinomas and NUT carcinomas are aggressive neoplasms, often affecting the sinonasal region. Not uncommonly, their diagnoses are made retrospectively.
Methods: Through SMARCB1 (INI-1) and NUT immunomarkers, 643 head and neck carcinomas were assessed retrospectively.
Aim: Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is an unusual proliferative disorder of bone marrow-derived histiocytes (Langerhans cells) that can produce focal or systemic manifestations. Oral manifestations of LCH can present as single or multiple lesions and can be a challenge in clinical practice. The aim of this paper is to present the clinicopathological features of a series of nine patients with oral involvement.

The aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that hyperbilirubinemia affects the dentin morphology of green teeth.
Material And Methods: Sixteen primary teeth were prepared and divided into two groups (green teeth, n = 8 and control, n = 8), which were transversely fractured across the cervical third of the dental crowns; dentin was prepared and sputter-coated with gold, and examined under a scanning electron microscope.
Background: This study aimed to compare the histological and immunohistochemical characteristics of ameloblastomas (AM) and ameloblastic carcinomas (AC).
Material And Methods: Fifteen cases of AM and 9 AC were submitted to hematoxilin and eosin (H&E) and immunohistochemical analysis with the following antibodies: cytokeratins 5,7,8,14 and 19, Ki-67, p53, p63 and the cellular adhesion molecules CD138 (Syndecan-1), E-cadherin and β-catenin. The mean score of the expression of Ki-67 and p53 labelling index (LIs) were compared between the groups using the t test.
