CircRNAs and miRNAs: Key Player Duo in Breast Cancer Dynamics and Biomarkers for Breast Cancer Early Detection and Prevention.

Breast cancer (BC) remains a significant global health issue, necessitating advanced molecular approaches for early detection and prevention. This review delves into the roles of microRNAs (miRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs) in BC, highlighting their potential as non-invasive biomarkers. Utilizing in silico tools and databases, we propose a novel methodology to establish mRNA/circRNA/miRNA axes possibly indicative of early detection and possible prevention.

Cervical cancer screening uptake in Arab countries: a systematic review with meta-analysis.

Background: Cervical cancer, though one of the most common cancers affecting women globally, holds immense potential for prevention through screening. Therefore, we conducted this meta-analysis to assess the rate of cervical cancer screening in Arab countries and identify barriers among those who did not participate.

Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted from January 1st to June 1st,2024, including all observational studies that reported cervical cancer screening uptake in any Arab country.

Perceptions of Implementing Real-Time Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes and Digital Analytics in a Majority-Minority Cancer Center.

Purpose: Electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) tools are increasingly used to provide first-hand information on patient's symptoms and quality of life. This study explored how patients and health care providers (HCPs) perceive the use of a digital real-time ePRO tool, coupled with digital analytics at a cancer center located in a majority-minority county. Furthermore, we described the implementation barriers and facilitators identified from the participants' perspectives.

Financial insecurity and mental well-being: experiences of parents amid the lebanese economic crisis.

Background: This study investigates the impact of financial insecurity on the mental well-being and stress levels of parents in Lebanon amid the country's severe economic crisis. The context of Lebanon's economic collapse, coupled with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Beirut port explosion, has exacerbated financial and psychological distress among the population. This research aims to understand the correlation between financial instability and parental stress, identifying key factors contributing to mental health challenges in this demographic.
