Molecular ions that are generated by chemical reactions with trapped atomic ions can serve as an accessible testbed for developing molecular quantum technologies. On the other hand, they are also a hindrance to scaling up quantum computers based on atomic ions, as unavoidable reactions with background gases destroy the information carriers. Here, we investigate the single- and two-photon dissociation processes of single CaOH+ molecular ions co-trapped in Ca+ ion crystals using a femtosecond laser system.

We investigated the long-term association of a stepwise multifaceted educational program with the incidence of HAIs and antibiotics use in a Brazilian ICU. Objective: Currently, there is an ongoing debate whether progesterone receptor positive and estrogen receptor negative breast carcinomas represent a true distinct subtype of tumor or a mere immunohistochemical artifact. In this study, we conducted an immunohistochemistry panel with the antibodies TFF1, EGFR, and CK5 to reclassify this phenotype in a luminal or basal-like subtype.

Introduction: The use of facial fillers has increased over the years because they are less invasive and present lower risks and faster results, along with shorter recovery time.

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a possible treatment for vascular complications resulting from facial fillers.

Methodology: This is a retrospective study of a series of patients treated at with hyperbaric oxygen therapy at the Brazilian Institute for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (Instituto de Oxigenoterapia Hiperbárica do Brasil), after vascular complications from facial fillers.
