Aim: To compare the prognosis of low-grade endometrial carcinoma (LG-EC) with that of high-grade endometrial carcinoma (HG-EC) after first recurrence/relapse before the molecular targeted therapy era.
Methods: Recurrent/relapsed endometrial cancer was diagnosed in 155 women at our hospital between January 26, 1999 and February 26, 2019. Fifty of these women received paclitaxel-carboplatin, two received doxorubicin-cisplatin, and one received docetaxel-carboplatin as postoperative chemotherapy.

- Out of 1,130 patients, 852 underwent PJC, showing an overall accuracy of 55% for distinguishing cancerous from noncancerous lesions, with varying rates based on IPMN type.
- Despite low sensitivity, the high positive predictive value suggests PJC may still be useful in uncertain surgical cases but is generally not recommended as a reliable diagnostic tool.
Objective: To investigate whether radical hysterectomy (RAH) can effectively treat true Stage IIB (pTIIB) cervical adenocarcinoma (AC) because FIGO (clinical) Stage IIB cervical cancer is rarely treated with RAH and radiotherapy has unfavorable effects on AC.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data for 82 patients with Stage pTIIB cervical cancer who underwent RAH at our institution between January 1997 and December 2017. The end points were disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) among squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (n = 60) and AC (n = 22) patients.
