SrFeO (SFO) offers a topotactic phase transformation between an insulating brownmillerite SrFeO (BM-SFO) phase and a conductive perovskite SrFeO (PV-SFO) phase, making it a competitive candidate for use in resistive memory and neuromorphic computing. However, most of existing SFO-based memristors are nonvolatile devices which struggle to achieve short-term synaptic plasticity (STP). To address this issue and realize STP, we propose to leverage ferroelectric polarization to effectively draw ions across the interface so that the PV-SFO conductive filaments (CFs) can be ruptured in absence of an external field.

In this study, strontium-containing hydroxyapatite (SrHA) powder was synthesized by the hydrothermal method, and then poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL)/HA and PCL/SrHA composite scaffolds were prepared by the high-temperature melt extrusion 3D printing technology. The basic physical and chemical properties, in vitro biological properties, osteogenesis, and angiogenesis abilities of the scaffold were studied.

The proportion of children of color in the US is increasing, and racial and ethnic minority representation is important in pediatric allergic contact dermatitis research. View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: The incidence and mortality of anal squamous cell carcinoma (ASCC) are rising, with greater than 80% of cases linked to human papillomavirus (HPV), primarily HPV16. Post-treatment surveillance can be challenging due to the limitations of anoscopy, digital anal rectal exam (DARE), and imaging. Plasma tumor tissue modified viral (TTMV)-HPV DNA has shown strong sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value in detecting the recurrence of HPV-driven oropharyngeal cancer.
