Objective: To document surgical incision healing for hospitalized sea turtles.
Methods: Medical records for sea turtle surgical cases from a single hospital between 2008 and 2024 were retrospectively evaluated. Cases that involved traumatic wounds or open fractures that were present at the time of admission, ophthalmic surgery, or acoustic transmitter implantations were excluded.
Objective: To compare core temperatures of superficial and deep digital flexor tendons (SDFT, DDFT) during application of a compression cooling system versus ice boots and during subsequent lower limb bandaging.
Study Design: Experimental study.
Animals: Paired forelimbs of six sedated horses.
A search is presented for an extended Higgs sector with two new particles, X and ϕ, in the process X→ϕϕ→(γγ)(γγ). Novel neural networks classify events with diphotons that are merged and determine the diphoton masses. The search uses LHC proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected with the CMS detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}.
