Introduction: Few data about the safety of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in the patients with solid tumor with Occult Hepatitis B Virus (OBI) are available. According to the Taormina Workshop on Occult HBV Infection Faculty Members we defined as potential-OBI (pOBI) the HBV DNA negativity with anti-hepatitis B core antibody (anti-HBc) positivity (pOBI seropositive), and the patients with HBsAg-negative and anti-HBc-negative and Hepatitis B surface antibody (anti-HBs)-negative are defined pOBI seronegative. The aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence of OBI in patients with solid tumors undergoing ICIs with or without chemotherapy and the incidence of reactivation (HBVr).

Diet is a modifiable, noninvasive, inexpensive behavior that is crucial in shaping the intestinal microbiome. A microbiome "imbalance" or dysbiosis in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is linked to inflammation. Here, we aim to define the impact of specific foods on bacterial species commonly depleted in patients with IBD to better inform dietary treatment.

The prevalence of osteoporosis is about three times greater in people living with HIV than in the general population. Bisphosphonates are the only class of antiresorptive drugs which have proved to be safe and effective in HIV patients. However, bisphosphonates are not recommended in women of childbearing age due to an increased rate of associated neonatal complications.

Objectives: To define the seroprevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in blood donors (referred to the first lockdown area (Lodi Red-Zone) of the Lombardy region and in a contiguous area that was not included in the first lockdown); to define the agreement between a commercial serological assay and a reference microneutralization assay; and to evaluate the persistence of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies in a cohort of blood donors.

Methods: Blood donors referred to the first lockdown area in Lombardy Region and the neighbouring area were analysed for SARS-CoV-2 IgG-specific antibodies during the period 18 March to 24 June 2020. Serum samples were analysed using both a chemiluminescent immunoassay (LIAISON® SARS-CoV-2 S1/S2 IgG, DiaSorin) for the quantitative characterization of SARS-CoV-2 anti-S1 and anti-S2 IgG antibodies and a neutralizing antibodies (NT-Abs) assay.
