This comprehensive review aims to explore imaging outcome measures targeting compartmentalized inflammation in Phase 2 clinical trials for multiple sclerosis (MS). The traditional primary imaging outcomes used in Phase 2 MS trials, new or enhancing white matter lesions on MRI, target the effects of peripheral inflammation, but the widespread inflammation behind a mostly closed blood-brain barrier is not captured. This review discusses several emerging imaging technologies that could be used as surrogate markers of compartmentalized inflammation, targeting chronic active lesions, meningeal inflammation, and innate immune activation within the normal-appearing white matter and gray matter.

A range of siloxydienes are functionalized in good yields with high stereoselectivity under mild reaction conditions. Structural divergence is observed as either haloalkylated or haloalkenylated products are formed on the basis of the substitution pattern of the siloxydiene.

We evaluated the influence of distinct habitat factors on the occupancy of Olalla's titi monkey (Plecturocebus olallae), a Critically Endangered primate endemic to Bolivia. We assessed the presence of titi monkey groups using the playback technique, employing point counts in 582 quadrants of approximately 6.

Bromomethane synthesis requires hydrogen peroxide (H O ). We developed a staining assay utilizing 3,3'-diaminobenzidine (DAB) for identifying H O in three groups of seaweeds (red, brown, and green), including intensely pigmented species.
