Objective: To assess the enzymatic and non-enzymatic links of the glutathione system in pregnant women depending on the sleep quality.
Material And Methods: The study included 64 pregnant women aged 18 to 40 years. Sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).

The Caucasian women-carriers of the TT-genotype with insomnia as compared to control group-had a higher morning melatonin level and a lower night melatonin level.

Aim: To assess quantitative characteristics of sleep in perimenopausal women treated with melatonin in a dose of 3 mg during 3 month.
Material And Methods: A study included 21 perimenopausal women with sleep disorders. Seventeen women completed the study.
