Background: Post-inpatient discharge is a risky time for older patients, especially those with polypharmacy and multi-morbidity. General practice care at this time, including the processes for managing hospital discharge summaries, lacks standardisation and is of variable quality. Understanding these processes will support the design of interventions and guidance to improve general practice management of the post-discharge period.

However, they remain difficult to design and are instead typically selected for using extensive screens or directed evolution. Recent developments in protein large language models have enabled fast generation of diverse protein sequences in unexplored regions of protein space predicted to fold into varied structures, bind relevant targets, and catalyze novel reactions.

We identify BNST neurons defined by the expression of vesicular glutamate transporter 3, VGluT3. VGluT3 neurons were localized to anteromedial BNST, were molecularly distinct from accumbal VGluT3 neurons, and co-express vesicular GABA transporter (VGaT).

Specifically, CA125, CEA, LRG1, REG3A, THBS2, TIMP1, TNRFSF1A as well as CA19-9 were assayed in serially collected pre-diagnostic plasma from 242 PDAC cases and 242 age- and sex-matched non-case control participants in the PLCO cohort. We compared performance estimates of a parametric empirical Bayes (PEB) algorithm, which incorporates participant biomarker history, to that of a single-threshold (ST) method.

However, to date, there has been limited research on the links between long-term variation in the composition of DOM and CO emissions from lakes. Lake Taihu is a large, shallow, and hyper-eutrophic lake where DOM composition is strongly influenced by inputs from the rivers draining cultivated and urbanized landscapes.
