[The legal status of off-label preparations and legal aspects of their application in The Russian Federation].

For many years, the medications "outside of instruction" (the so-called "off-label" ones) had no single-valued legal status in the Russian Federation and other countries that entailed number of problems. Most of them had to do with schemes and tactics of treatment of patient, impossibility of proper medical care support, legal responsibility of physician for applying medications outside of attached instruction. The important move in resolving mentioned problem became adoption of the Federal Law "On entering changes in the Federal Law "On Fundamentals of Health Care of Citizen in The Russian Federation" that became first step on the path leading to acquisition by "off-label" its legal status.

Thermal burns are the most common type of burn injuries. Medical treatment for burns is crucial, especially for third-degree burns and when a significant surface area of the body is affected. One of the most pressing issues in modern medicine is the search for new effective means to accelerate the healing of burn wounds.

Exogenous Iron Induces Mitochondrial Lipid Peroxidation, Lipofuscin Accumulation, and Ferroptosis in H9c2 Cardiomyocytes.

Lipid peroxidation plays an important role in various pathologies and aging, at least partially mediated by ferroptosis. The role of mitochondrial lipid peroxidation during ferroptosis remains poorly understood. We show that supplementation of exogenous iron in the form of ferric ammonium citrate at submillimolar doses induces production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxidation in mitochondria that precede ferroptosis in H9c2 cardiomyocytes.

The goal of the given investigation is (1) the isolation and purification of the isoforms of endogenous О-producing associate from gastrointestinal bacteria (); (2) determination of the effective concentrations of exogenous О produced by a complex of NADPH-containing protein component and Fe(III) (NPC-Fe(III)) from raspberries on the growth of the gastrointestinal bacteria in a nutrient medium . Ion-exchange chromatography on cellulose DE-52 and gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 at the pH of 9.

Regulatory effect of bacterial melanin on the isoforms of new superoxide-producing associates from rat tissues in rotenone-induced Parkinson's disease.

According to recent research, selective neuronal vulnerability in Parkinson's disease (PD) results from several phenotypic traits, including calcium-dependent, feed-forward control of mitochondrial respiration leading to elevated reactive oxygen species and cytosolic calcium concentration, an extensive axonal arbor, and a reactive neurotransmitter. Therefore, antioxidant therapy is a promising direction in the treatment of PD. In vitro studies have indicated the survival-promoting activity of bacterial melanin (BM) on midbrain dopaminergic neuron cultures.
