Background: The Avicenna unified Health Information System (HIS) was implemented by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in 2010 across government hospitals. Despite its potential, the acceptance of Avicenna HIS by healthcare providers remains unclear after 14 years of application. Understanding the factors that influence healthcare provider acceptance is essential for optimizing the system's success.

Cost-Utility Analysis of Maintenance Pemetrexed Plus Best Supportive Care Compared With Best Supportive Care Alone in Treating Patients With Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in Jordan.

Objectives: To assess the cost-effectiveness of maintenance pemetrexed plus best supportive care (BSC) in non-small cell lung cancer patients from a Jordanian healthcare system perspective.

Methods: A Markov model with 4 health states was developed to estimate life years, quality-adjusted life-years (QALY), costs, and the incremental cost-utility ratio of pemetrexed plus BSC versus BSC. A lifelong time horizon was used in the base-case analysis.

Outpatients satisfaction and perceptions toward pharmaceutical services in public and private hospitals in Palestine: a cross-sectional study.

Background: Pharmaceutical care is an essential component of healthcare services, and patient satisfaction with these services is crucial for improving overall health outcomes. We aimed to evaluate patient satisfaction and perception with pharmaceutical care services provided at public and private hospitals for outpatient pharmacies. This study can provide insights into the quality of pharmaceutical services provided in both settings and identify areas for improvement.

Healthcare Providers' Attitudes and Experiences of the Quality Use of Medications Among Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Patients in Australia: A Systematic Review of Qualitative Studies.

This review aims to identify healthcare providers' (HCPs) experiences with issues related to the quality use of medicines among culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) patients, the underlying factors, and the enablers of and barriers to providing culturally safe care to promote quality use of medicines. The searched databases were Scopus, Web of Science, Academic search complete, CINHAL-Plus, Google Scholar and PubMed/Medline. The initial search returned 643 articles, of which 14 papers were included.

Medicines use issues perceived by Arabic-speaking patients living in English-speaking countries: A systematic review.

Objectives: Quality use of medicines, or rational medicines use, requires patients' adherence to the quality principles of medication use. There is a limited number of reviews about quality medication use among migrant patients. This review aims to fill this gap by exploring medication-related issues experienced by Arabic-speaking patients living in English-speaking countries.
