Advances in management of noninvasive ventilation for preterm infants.

Providing most appropriate noninvasive ventilation (NIV) for preterm infants remains priority in neonatal intensive care units. Several newer modes of ventilation have evolved including continuous positive airway pressure, nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation and noninvasive high frequency ventilation to meet patients' demands. Advanced level of monitoring is performed while patients are receiving NIV for optimization of the respiratory support.

Plant Growth-Promoting Potential of Colletotrichum sp. Isolated from Ocimum basilicum L. Leaves: A Broad-Spectrum Evaluation.

The primary objective of this study was to assess the growth-promoting potential of Colletotrichum sp. as a broad-spectrum plant inoculant and to investigate its applicability beyond its natural host range. Out of ten endophytes isolated from Ocimum basilicum, only four were reported for IAA production and among them, Colletotrichum sp.

Suitability, acceptability, feasibility of modern menstrual methods: a qualitative study in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, India.

Objective: To examine women's perceptions of modern menstrual hygiene methods (MMHM), such as tampons and menstrual cups, focusing on socio-demographic variations and special groups in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu.

Methods: A qualitative study among women of reproductive age (15-49 years) group was conducted using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) among twelve women subgroups independently in 2023.

Results: The present study involved 23 focus group discussions (FGDs) across various groups of women, including those in formal and informal sectors, urban and rural areas, school and college students, healthcare workers, women in sports, tribal women, transgender women, and female sex workers (FSW), with a total of 188 participants.

Agenesis of all premolars - the first reported case.

The agenesis of teeth is the most common developmental anomaly in humans. Although third molars, mandibular second premolars, maxillary lateral incisors and maxillary second premolars are frequently found to be missing, the absence of all premolars has never been reported in the literature. This case report highlights the first-ever case of the complete agenesis of premolars in a 10-year-old male patient.

Machine learning-based optimal temperature management model for safety and quality control of perishable food supply chain.

The management of a food supply chain is difficult and complex because of the product's short shelf-life, time-sensitivity, and perishable nature which must be carefully considered to minimize food waste. Temperature-controlled perishable food supply chain provides the highly crucial facilities necessary to maintain the quality and safety of the product. The storage temperature is the most vital factor in maintaining both the quality and shelf-life of a perishable food.
