The hindering of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) signal reception by jamming and spoofing attacks degrades the signal quality. Careful attention needs to be paid when post-processing the signal under these circumstances before feeding the signal into the GNSS receiver's post-processing stage. The identification of the time domain statistical attributes and the spectral domain characteristics play a vital role in analyzing the behaviour of the signal characteristics under various kinds of jamming attacks, spoofing attacks, and multipath scenarios.

An Adaptive RF Front-End Architecture for Multi-Band SDR in Avionics.

This study introduces a reconfigurable and agile RF front-end (RFFE) architecture that significantly enhances the performance of software-defined radios (SDRs) by seamlessly adjusting to varying signal requirements, frequencies, and protocols. This flexibility greatly enhances spectrum utilization, signal integrity, and overall system efficiency-critical factors in aviation, where reliable communication, navigation, and surveillance systems are vital for safety. Understanding the association between initial experimentation with a tobacco product and subsequent patterns of tobacco use among youth is important to informing prevention activities for youth in the US. We conducted an online survey from August to October 2017 among youth aged 13-18 years. The current analysis focused on respondents reporting initial experimentation with any tobacco product (n = 2,022).

Closure reduces the availability of hospital care in rural areas, resulting in a disparity in health between rural and urban citizens, and it has broader economic impacts on rural communities as rural hospitals are often large employers and are vital to recruiting new businesses to a community. To combat the risk of closure, rural hospitals have sought partnerships to bolster financial performance, which often results in a closure of services valuable to the community, such as obstetrics and certain diagnostic services, which are viewed as unprofitable.

Background: This study compares emergency department (ED) revisits for patients receiving hospital-based substance-use support compared to those who did not receive specialized addiction services at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Methods: The study is a retrospective observational study using administrative data from all patients presenting with substance use disorder (SUD) at Health Sciences North from January 1, 2018, and August 31, 2022 with ICD-10 codes from the Discharge Abstract Database (DAD) and the National Ambulatory Care Database (NACRS). There were two interventions under study: addiction medicine consult services (AMCS group), and specialized addiction medicine unit (AMU group).
