Supercooled transition metals are characterized by the absence of long-range order and the presence of a specific short-range order in the arrangement of atoms. So, the presence of shoulders and broadenings at the second maximum in the experimentally measured quantity-in the static structure factor()-is usually interpreted as a manifestation of the icosahedral (ideal or distorted) short-range order (ISRO-). Icosahedral short-range order is a structure with fivefold symmetry in the arrangement of atoms, which can lead to the possibility of achieving deep supercooling.

The paper presents the results of molecular dynamics study of the viscosity of nickel-containing binary metal melts for a wide range of temperatures, including the region of the equilibrium liquid phase and supercooled melt. It is shown that the temperature dependencies of the viscosity of binary metal melts are described by the Kelton's quasi-universal model. Based on the analysis of the viscosity coefficient of the binary melt composition within the framework of the Rosenfeld's scale transformations, it has been established that to correctly describe the viscosity of binary/multicomponent metal melts within the framework of entropy models, it is necessary to use a more complex representation of the excess entropy S than in the approximation of pair correlation entropy S .

Aim: To assess the effect of systemic endotoxinemia and LPS-induced immune response on severity of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP).

Materials And Methods: Clinico-immunological follow-up of 60 patients with CAP of different severity was conducted. LPS was quantitatively measured by ENDOSAFE ENDOCHROME (0.

Here we provide new experimental results on multicomponent reactions of amines with aldehydes and H(2)S in the directed synthesis of functionally-substituted 1,3-thiazetidines, 1,3,5-dithiazinanes, 1,3,5-thiadiazinanes, 1,5-dithia-3,7-diazacyclooctanes, and thioaza macrocycles. X-ray analysis gave insight into the structure of the synthesized compounds. New kinds of multicomponent reactions (MCR) have been discovered and characterized.

Qualitative immunological changes in children from an old age group who have clinical manifestations of immunological deficiency and in apparently healthy children, who reside at the site in vicinity of a Bashkir biochemical plant may suggest the negative impact of emission from the plant on their health and require differential measures aimed at correcting the immune system.
