The disease typically progresses through distinct stages: primary, secondary, latent, and tertiary, each with specific clinical manifestations. Secondary syphilis is characterized by systemic involvement and various mucocutaneous symptoms, including a maculopapular rash that frequently involves the palms and soles along with fever, lymphadenopathy, and mucous membrane lesions.

In preference reversals, subjects express different rankings over a set of alternatives depending on how preferences are elicited. In classical reversal tasks, for instance, subjects often select a safe bet over a risky one when given a choice between the two in a pair, but then assign a higher monetary evaluation to the risky bet. Motivated by a rich literature on context-dependent preferences, we conjecture that comparisons across bets in a pair can influence both Choice and Evaluation.

Background: We aimed to demonstrate the effects of tumor treating fields (TTFields) in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) cells when combined with radiotherapy (RT) and chemotherapy.

Methods: Two human HNSCC cell lines (Cal27, FaDu) received five different treatments: TTFields, RT +/- TTFields and RT + simultaneous cisplatin +/- TTFields. Effects were quantified using clonogenic assays and flow cytometric analyses of DAPI, caspase-3 activation and γH2AX foci.

The congenital deficit of FVII of coagulation it's an anomaly of genetic transmission autosomal recessive type, it can occur with clinical manifestations like hematomas and spontaneous bleeding or not. The normal levels of FVII it's found between 70%-130% of the laboratory reference value. For unknown reasons there is a poor correlation between levels of FVII and bleeding risk.
