The advent of autonomous nanomotors presents exciting opportunities for nanodrug delivery. However, significant potential remains for enhancing the asymmetry of nanomotors and advancing the development of second near-infrared (NIR-II) light-propelled nanomotors capable of operating within deep tissues. Herein, we developed a dual-ligand assisted anisotropic assembly strategy that enables precise regulation of the interfacial energy between selenium (Se) nanoparticle and periodic mesoporous organosilica (PMO).

Psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the body image life disengagement questionnaire in a sample of adolescents.

Background: The negative consequences of body image concerns manifest in ways such as negative emotional experiences, eating disorders, and problems with social life. The Body Image Life Disengagement Questionnaire (BILD-Q) is an instrument for assessing the impact of body image concerns specifically on adolescents' life disengagement. The objective of this study is to create a Chinese version of the BILD-Q and assess its validity and reliability with Chinese adolescents.

Background: Mechanisms underlying the association of life-course adiposity with incident hypertension in adulthood have not been comprehensively investigated. In this study, we aimed to investigate the potential biochemical and metabolomic mechanisms underlying the association between adiposity and incident hypertension.

Methods: A total of 180,527 participants from the UK Biobank aged 37 to 73 years were included.

Modulation of γδ T cells by USF3: Implications for liver fibrosis and immune regulation.

Previous studies have established that γδ T cells play a significant role in liver fibrosis. However, their specific functions and mechanisms in fibrotic liver tissue remain unclear. Using online microarray expression profiles, we observed that USF3 was upregulated in patients with liver fibrosis and was associated with immune cells.

Effect of initial bone morphology on alveolar bone remodeling following molar extraction: A retrospective study.

Background: The clinical evidence about alveolar ridge changes following molar extraction and how the alveolar bone morphology influences the ridge dimensional changes remains limited.

Methods: A total of 192 patients with 199 molar extractions were included in this retrospective study. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images of patients were obtained 0-3 months pre extraction and 6-12 months post extraction.
