In cancer patients, physical and psychological issues are very common. There is a need for family support and high utilisation of healthcare resources commonly. Palliative care (PC) has grown in popularity to better fulfil of needs of patients and their families and potentially lowering hospital costs.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of mortality and disability worldwide, with important economic and quality-of-life implications. Effective treatment relies on drug adherence, which is impacted by a variety of factors; noncompliance increases morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs. This study examines the quality of life, treatment adherence factors, and challenges that cardiac patients encounter during their treatment regimen.

Development of interprofessional educational module for understanding the musculoskeletal basis of sports injury.

Context: Interprofessional education (IPE) is crucial in promoting a better understanding of collaborative practices within the healthcare system. Unfortunately, healthcare professionals are still working in isolation. To address this issue, a study was conducted to develop a module-based teaching and learning activity focusing on sports injuries and to promote IPE.

Comparing effectiveness of 3-needle approach versus 5-needle approach of genicular nerve block on pain and quality of life in chronic osteoarthritis of knee: a double blinded randomised controlled trial.

Background: Knee osteoarthritis [KOA] is a common musculoskeletal disorder that is characterized by degeneration of the articular cartilage and the subchondral bone. It leads to pain and functional limitations in the joint. Genicular Nerve Blocks [GNB] or Genicular Nerve Radiofrequency Ablation [GNRFA] are pain-reducing procedures that can be used in such patients.

Anatomical variation of quadratus plantae with flexor digitorum longus tendon along with unilateral polydactyly of the toes: a rare case report.

During routine dissection, we observed a unique case of unilateral polydactyly in the left foot of a 61-year-old male cadaver. We observed the medial head of the quadratus plantae (QP) muscle, which gave off an additional tendinous slip before joining the lateral head of QP. The 4th tendon of the flexor digitorum longus (FDL) was bifurcated into two tendinous parts after receiving a thin fibrous slip from the tendinous slip of the medial head of QP.
