Histrionic personality pathology is among the most common forms of personality pathology, although little is known about its potential risk factors. One possible factor that may influence histrionic personality pathology is childhood trauma, most notably sexual abuse and physical/emotional neglect. However, there is little research on how these and other forms of childhood trauma may influence histrionic personality pathology relative to each other.

Psychopathy is a virulent form of personality pathology that exerts a costly burden on society. Although there is a strong hereditary component to psychopathy, the environment also has an impact. One of the most salient environmental influences is trauma, although not all forms of trauma may be equally predictive of psychopathy.

Trends in Pharmacy College Admission Test Requirements and Utilization Across Colleges and Schools of Pharmacy.

To identify national trends among US pharmacy schools and colleges in their requirements for the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) and underlying rationales for not requiring pharmacy school applicants to take it. An electronic survey regarding the following was sent to all US pharmacy programs: current and future PCAT requirements for applicants, use of the PCAT or other means to assess applicants' written communication skills, use of unofficial PCAT scores, and, if applicable, the rationale for not requiring applicants to submit PCAT scores. Data analysis was performed using Excel.

Heart rate variability (HRV) evaluates beat-to-beat interval (BBI) differences and is a suggested marker of the autonomic nervous system with diagnostic/monitoring capabilities in mental health; especially parasympathetic measures. The standard duration for short-term HRV analysis ranges from 24 h down to 5-min. However, wearable technology, mainly wrist devices, have large amounts of motion at times resulting in need for shorter duration of monitoring.
