Mental health needs of tribal college students in Araku Valley.

The indigenous tribal population in India, often residing in remote and underserved regions, represents a marginalized minority with limited access to healthcare, particularly mental health services. Despite the pressing need, there is a scarcity of research focusing on the mental health challenges faced by adolescents and young adults within these communities. This study addresses this gap by examining the mental health needs of tribal college students in the Araku Valley region of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Extended long-term follow-up of metastatic melanoma patients treated with immunotherapy: late relapses and second primary melanomas.

Background: Immunotherapy has revolutionized the treatment of patients with advanced melanoma as well as other cancers. Most studies, whether of interleukin-2 or checkpoint inhibitor therapies, have limited follow-up after 5 years, making the incidence of late relapses uncertain. In addition, the incidence of second primary melanomas in patients with stage IV melanoma treated with immunotherapy has rarely been reported.

NetAct: a computational platform to construct core transcription factor regulatory networks using gene activity.

A major question in systems biology is how to identify the core gene regulatory circuit that governs the decision-making of a biological process. Here, we develop a computational platform, named NetAct, for constructing core transcription factor regulatory networks using both transcriptomics data and literature-based transcription factor-target databases. NetAct robustly infers regulators' activity using target expression, constructs networks based on transcriptional activity, and integrates mathematical modeling for validation.

Adaptive Sentinel Testing in Workplace for COVID-19 Pandemic.

Testing and isolation of infectious employees is one of the critical strategies to make the workplace safe during the pandemic for many organizations. Adaptive testing frequency reduces cost while keeping the pandemic under control at the workplace. However, most models aimed at estimating test frequencies were structured for municipalities or large organizations such as university campuses of highly mobile individuals.
