The SARS-Cov-2 virus, which is evolving continuously and causing adverse effects throughout the world, needs an effective drug molecule for its treatment. There are several receptors of SARS Cov-2 which are targeted for its inhibition by many lead molecules both in-vitro and in-vivo. Papain like Protease (PLpro) is one of the two SARS-Cov-2 proteases that can be used as a drug target for SARS Cov-2.

Hydrogen sulfide (HS) is emerging as an important gasotransmitter in both physiological and pathological states. Rapid measurement of HS remains a challenge. We report a microfluidic method for rapid measurement of sulphide in blood plasma using Dansyl-Azide, a fluorescence (FL) based probe.

Introduction: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is emerging as a powerful tool in the evaluation and management of cervical cancer. The role of Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) with Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) as a non-invasive imaging biomarker is promising in characterization of the tumour and prediction of response.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of conventional MRI and diffusion weighted MRI in predicting clinicopathological prognostic factors.

The study of neurodegenerative disorders has had a major impact on our understanding of more fundamental mechanisms underlying neurobiology. Breakthroughs in the genetics of Alzheimer's (AD) and Parkinson's diseases (PD) has resulted in new knowledge in the areas of axonal transport, energy metabolism, protein trafficking/clearance and synaptic physiology. The major neurodegenerative diseases have in common a regional or network pathology associated with abnormal protein accumulation(s) and various degrees of motor or cognitive decline.
