Water-Soluble Nanocomposites Containing CoO Nanoparticles Incorporated in Poly-1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole.

New water-soluble nanocomposites with cobalt oxide nanoparticles (CoONPs) in a poly(1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole) (PVT) matrix have been synthesized. The PVT used as a stabilizing polymer matrix was obtained by radical polymerization of 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole (VT). The polymer nanocomposites with CoO nanoparticles were characterized by ultraviolet-visible, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, gel permeation chromatography, and simultaneous thermogravimetric analysis.

Time-of-flight mass spectrometer for diagnostics of continuous plasma flow.

This paper describes a version of the time-of-flight mass spectrometer based on a modified two-field acceleration approach of Wiley and McLaren. The aim of the device is a diagnostic of continuous plasma flow. The acceleration scheme idea, the construction of the spectrometer, and results of testing in plasma flow of Gd and CeO generated by vacuum arc discharge are described.

Importance: Early diagnosis of retinoblastoma, the most common intraocular cancer, can save both a child's life and vision. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that many children across the world are diagnosed late. To our knowledge, the clinical presentation of retinoblastoma has never been assessed on a global scale.

The data of the researches describes the were to establish the species composition of pasture cenoses and the productivity potential of light-chestnut and meadow-chestnut soils under different climatic conditions and in different periods of the year in the Terek-Kuma lowland of the North-Western Precaspian. Two peaks of productivity of phytocoenosis have been observed: the first is - ephemeral synusia in the middle of May- early June; second - motley grass and saltworts in the second half of September. The data on receipt of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) on the soil surface and the coefficient of its use over the years and periods of the year depending on the hydrothermal conditions and dynamics of harmful salts in the soil are given.
