Background: Population health programs rely on healthcare predictive models to allocate resources, yet models can perpetuate biases that exacerbate health disparities among marginalized communities.
Objective: We developed the Bias-reduction and Equity Framework for Assessing, Implementing, and Redesigning (BE-FAIR) healthcare predictive models, an applied framework tested within a large health system using a population health predictive model, aiming to minimize bias and enhance equity.
Design: Retrospective cohort study conducted at an academic medical center.
Glial choristoma (GC) is a rare developmental malformation commonly occur in nasal cavity and infrequently present at other sites like palate, tongue, pharynx, lips, and submandibular region. It usually occurs in the children either as an incidental finding or mass lesion or in association with cleft palate. GC is diagnosed by the demonstration of glial tissue on histopathology.

Materials And Methods: Thirty subjects afflicted with chronic periodontitis showing evidence of horizontal bone loss on the radiograph, pocket probing depth (PPD) between 4 and 7 mm, and ≥20 natural teeth present in the oral cavity were included in the study. In every patient, OFD+LLLT was done in one quadrant and OFD in another was performed.
Background: Since the introduction, hematoxylin and eosin (H and E) have been a gold standard stain for routine histopathological diagnosis of biopsied specimens. Xylene, despite its hazardous toxic effects, is the most commonly used deparaffinizing agent and forms an imperative part of this staining procedure. In the pursuit to eliminate the use of xylene, various substitutes became available, some with as many if not more hazards.
