Background: To date, the incidence and clinical relevance of arterial stenosis at clamp sites after femoropopliteal bypass surgery is unknown.
Methods: Ninety-four patients underwent a femoropopliteal bypass in which the arterial inflow and outflow clamp sites were controlled by the Fogarty-Soft-Inlay clamp and marked with an hemoclip. The number of pre-existing atherosclerotic segments, clamp force, and clamp time were recorded and the occurrence of a stenosis at the clamp site was determined.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare externally supported thin wall knitted polyester (P-EXS) and externally unsupported thin wall knitted polyester (P-non-EXS) for above-knee (AK) femoro-popliteal bypass grafting.
Design: A prospective multicenter randomised clinical trial.
Material And Methods: Between 1999 and 2008, 265 AK femoro-popliteal bypass grafts (6 mm in diameter) were performed, including 136 P-EXS and 129 P-non-EXS.

This disease, Mondor's disease, is a self-limiting disease caused by a thrombophlebitis of the superficial epigastric and thoracic veins. In this case repetitive injury sustained from running was probably the cause.

Most studies show a strong predominance in African American females with hypertension. In our case report, we describe the presence of a large brachial aneurysm in a young white male with intimomedial mucoid degeneration.

Design: A prospective multicentre randomised clinical trial.
Patients And Methods: Between 1992 and 1996, 228 AK femoro-popliteal bypass grafts were randomly allocated to either an ePTFE (n=114) or a Dacron (n=114) vascular graft (6mm in diameter).
