Deer antler-derived reserve mesenchyme cells (RMCs) are a promising source of cells for cartilage regeneration therapy due to their chondrogenic differentiation potential. However, the regulatory mechanism has not yet been elucidated. In this study, we analyzed the role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in regulating the differentiation of RMCs and in the post-transcriptional regulation of chondrogenesis and hypertrophic differentiation at the molecular and histological levels.

Background/objectives: Spatholobi Caulis (SPC) is a medicinal plant that mainly grows in China and Southeast Asian countries and commonly used in clinics; the pharmacokinetic characteristics in humans need to be determined. This study was to establish the physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models of multiple active constituents from SPC in rats, and predict the pharmacokinetic properties of rats with different dosages and extrapolated to humans.

Methods: The parameters were collected based on our previous study and by prediction using ADMET Predictor software predict.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis enters the body through the respiratory tract, produces and releases virulence proteins through a variety of mechanisms, regulates the host immune mechanism through a variety of ways, and then survives in the body for a long time. These depend on virulence genes encoded by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Previous studies found that the Rv3435c gene of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is highly conserved in pathogenic mycobacterium, but not conserved in non-pathogenic mycobacterium, which may be a potential virulence gene, and inhibit the secretion of inflammatory factors in RAW264.

CDK4/6i, the first-line drug for treating ERα-positive breast cancer, significantly improves clinical outcomes. However, CDK4/6i resistance often develops and remains a major hurdle, and the underlying mechanisms remain challenging to fully investigate. Here, we used Genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 library screening combined with single-cell sequencing to screen for molecules mediating CDK4/6i resistance and identified METTL14 as a determinant of CDK4/6i sensitivity.

Objective: Previous studies suggested that sudomotor dysfunction is closely related to multiple diabetic microvascular complications. We aimed to investigate the association between sudomotor dysfunction and subclinical carotid atherosclerosis (SCAS) in people with type 2 diabetes.

Methods: A total of 1788 participants were included in this cross-sectional study.
