Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic lung disease that leads to respiratory decline caused by scarring and thickening of lung tissues. Multiple pathways contribute to the fibrotic process in this disease, such as inflammation, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, and oxidative stress. The Rho-associated coiled-coil forming protein kinase (ROCK) signaling pathway is a key regulator of profibrotic signaling, as it affects the organization of actin-myosin and the remodeling of the extracellular matrix.

There has been increasing emphasis on post-total knee replacement pain relief as a significant issue, especially in the context of postoperative recovery protocols which focus on early mobility.
Methods: The aim of this study was to assess if the addition of adductor canal blocks (ACB) reduced postoperative pain and affected mobility post primary total knee arthroplasty (TKR) at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital (ARRH).
Purpose: The main objective of this open, prospective, multicentre, observational study is to investigate the relapse rate and tolerability of lactic acid gels in adult female patients with recurrent urinary tract infections during routine practice.
Methods: Data were collected from patients undergoing intermittent short courses of intravaginal treatment with lactic acid gel for prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections. The observation period for individual patients was 4 months, aimed at covering four short courses of intravaginal treatment.
