Dark photocatalysis is the ability of a photocatalyst to accumulate photocarriers during light irradiation and consume them for redox reactions under dark conditions. This phenomenon of photocatalysts storing photocarriers is known as charge accumulation. Dark photocatalysts can mitigate fluctuations in photocatalytic reaction efficiency in response to fluctuating solar irradiation.

In-memory computing may make it possible to realize non-von Neumann computing because the logic circuits are unified in the memory units. We investigated two types of in-memory logic operations, namely, two-input logic circuits and multifunctional artificial synapses. These were realized in a dual-gate antiambipolar transistor (AAT) with a ReS/WSe heterojunction, in which polystyrene with a zinc phthalocyanine core (ZnPc-PS) was incorporated as a memory layer.

In this study, we successfully applied a transition-edge sensor (TES) spectrometer as a detector for microbeam X-ray measurements from a synchrotron X-ray light source in the hard X-ray region to determine uranium (U) distribution at the micro-scale and its chemical species in biotite obtained from a U mine. Purpose: Nordic hamstring exercise (NHE) and razor hamstring curl (RHC) are usually performed to train hamstring eccentric contraction strength. However, it is unclear whether there are differences in the intensity of the two methods and the amount of loading on each muscle. Therefore, this study was conducted using peak eccentric force and each muscle surface electromyogram (s-EMG) to provide useful information to decide whether NHE or RHC should be prescribed for training and rehabilitation.
